In Salt Lake City, KUED Channel 7, the PBS-affiliate, hosted a free preview screening and panel discussion of MINDS ON THE EDGE as a part of their "Diverse Voices" Film Series on Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
Panelists included Sherri Wittwer, M.P.A. Executive Director, NAMI, who became involved with NAMI when her son was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at thirteen. Ms. Wittwer discovered NAMI while working for Salt Lake County conducting a mental health needs assessment and later became the Executive Director of NAMI Utah. The Diverse Voices film series is underwritten by American Express, The Salt Lake Tribune and the B W Bastian Foundation.
